Cigarette lighter socket out of the usual electric cartridge of lamps

The cigarette lighter socket for home use can be assembled from a simple bulb holder.

A small alteration of a conventional cartridge will help you use car gadgets in your home or just check their performance.

The cartridge can be anything, I chose from plastic for their resistance to falling, in contrast to ceramic and carbolic.

The refinement is simple: I cut out such a workpiece from a conductive plate (as in the figure), and bent it in the form of a cylinder. The plate has one leg for negative contact. A plus will be central contact. For illumination, I used a LED with a 150 Ohm resistor.

If desired, the cartridge can be used again under a 220 V electric lamp, removing the backlit plate - it was not injured. Gently solder, insert all the wires and assemble the structure. The nest is ready!
If there is a 12 V power supply in the house, you can connect an FM transmitter, a recorder or more serious equipment, such as a car vacuum cleaner or a compressor. But the power source will already be more powerful. For example, a power supply from a computer. Contacts in a homemade cigarette lighter are reliable, but do not forget about protection - fuses. And of course, from two or three of these cartridges you can assemble a splitter in car, which will be more reliable than is currently on sale.
