Homemade author decided to make a chandelier do it yourself and so that it is original, but at the same time beautiful and easy to repeat. To create it, hard-to-reach materials are not needed.
To make such a chandelier, we need:
* Wooden planks.
* Long bolts and nuts with washers to them.
* Cartridges for bulbs.
* Glass.
* 4 dowels.
That's all it takes to create an original chandelier; finding these materials will not be difficult.
Let's start making homemade products.
Step one.
The first step is to decide on the material from which the chandelier body will be made, in this case it is a plate in the amount of 8 pieces.
If their length does not match, then you can adjust the size using a jigsaw. It is important to note that 4 of them are slightly longer than the others 4. The sizes are selected individually based on the available glass, which will be put in the future.
Step Two
Before starting to twist the parts into a single unit, it is necessary to mark the junction of the boards so that the rectangle formed inside is the size of glass. After that, you can cover the parts with a stain and make holes in the places where the bolts are installed.
Step Three
It's time to assemble the rectangle from the planks, with the help of long bolts we tighten the parts, as shown in the photo, do not forget to put a washer so as not to squeeze our part when tightening and not to form a dent.
Step Four
Now let's install e of the component, we take a couple of cartridges and fasten them on screws to the planks, install the cartridges diagonally to each other, then check the allowable clearance for installing glass by screwing a light bulb into the cartridge. If the bulb rests against the glass, then install the cartridge a little deeper.
Step Five
Install the glass. It will be possible to drill such glass only with the help of a special drill with diamond spraying, so there is no way without it. Do not overdo it with tightening the nuts on the bolts to prevent damage to the glass.
The homemade lamp is ready for this, it looks original and gives a smooth diffused light. You can hang it on the dowel.
