This article will discuss how to make a carriage for a circular saw. According to the author, such a carriage facilitates the process of sawing large sheets of wood and ensures the accuracy of sawing.

Step One: Sketch
As a first step, the author makes a sketch of the table on which the carriage will be fixed.
Step Two: Making the table
The author made a table from a profile pipe. The height of the table is equal to the height of the table of the circular saw minus the height of the carriage. That is, before making a table, it is necessary to calculate the height of the carriage assembly with rods, sliders and mounts. Then subtract this figure from the height of the saw table. A small drop can be adjusted by feet.
Cuts the pipe to size.

At the ends of the legs welded plate with thread. Screws the legs.
Step Three: Rods
Next you need to prepare the rods and mount. The diameter of the rod is 20 mm, a length of two meters. First, the author cuts the rod in half. Then on each mount makes 5 holes. Applies fastenings to the rod and makes holes in the rod according to the template. Screws the rod to the mount and the entire structure to the table.
Step Four: Plate
The author polished the plate in a metalworking workshop. The size of the plate is 800x240 mm. Due to the high price and difficulty in processing, the aluminum plate can be replaced with wood.
On the back of the plate secures the sliders.
Sets the stove on the table.
Step Five: Setting up the table
Sets the table. If necessary, adjusts its height.
