I also thought so when I visited my friend’s house, and they have 26 degrees of heat there in winter (I have Spartan conditions above +20 only for the battery). And then I decided to find out what is actually the humidity in the apartment and bought a psychometer (laboratory on two thermometers). Imagine my surprise that the humidity in the apartment was higher than on the street.
I thought that the warmer the air, the drier it is, and I googled it to the contrary (although this is a school physics program). It turns out that hot air dissolves in itself more water vapor, so we are not comfortable in such conditions. Water evaporates from the mucous membranes, but increased humidity will also be uncomfortable, since humid hot air impairs heat exchange due to perspiration. And it turns out that if it is very hot, the effect will be like in a steam room, if the air is below body temperature, it will be cold as in fog (despite the fact that the air can be 20 degrees)
Conclusion, do not increase the humidity in the apartment - reduce the temperature to a comfortable 22-25 degrees.
