Adjust the speed of the impeller on the water meters.
Before installing it in a new counter (it is advisable to do it yourself — it’s not difficult) and sealing, in the impeller chamber we drill a hole for a brass bolt without a head with a diameter of 3 mm. and cut the thread. This bolt will serve as a cork and is not visible to the inspector. In the future, it can be unscrewed and replaced with a normal one with a head, for the convenience of adjusting the impeller speed. The bolt must be long enough to frict the impeller against the protruding part of the bolt.
ADJUSTMENT: When water is supplied, we begin to smoothly tighten the screw with a screwdriver until the impeller starts to touch. In order to avoid a complete stop of the counter, the touch should be barely noticeable. Over time, output will appear on the impeller and the counter will spin evenly depending on the adjustment.
During a period of high water consumption (washing, washing, watering, etc.), the meter can be stopped.
This method is suitable in homes where there are no common house meters, otherwise the neighbors will pay for your savings.
