Yes, yes, youth ... In the USSR, there were 3D cinemas a long time ago ... I explain to those young people who were led by the opinion that someone was instilling that the USSR was backward in technology
I watched stereo for the first time - a film in 1979 in Yalta, there, in the lobby, right in the air, there was a “hologram” of an ancient amphora, so realistic that I tried to touch it! smile
Yes, I don’t see this effect ... After a head injury in my youth, one eye "moved out" a bit)))) Vision did not drop (the unit in both .... was about forty years old with a tail)))). But here, with the stereoscopic nature of the problem.)))) (Plus, it’s a “mathematician” by type of thinking. I later found out that it’s more difficult for people with an analytical type of thinking to “see what is not,” since their brain is “automatic” rejects and seeks a solution ... "Humanities" in this regard is easier)))).
... The first time these "problems" emerged in the early 80's, when they went to the "stereo movie". (Yes, yes, youth ... In the USSR, there were 3D cinemas a long time ago ... I explain this to those young people who were led by the opinion that someone was encouraged that the USSR was backward in technology)))). Well then, everyone was delighted, and I ... I pretended to be delighted too, but didn’t go anymore ...
Then he often pretended when everyone examined the “stereo pictures”, and lied that I also see volume ...
Already now (about eight years ago, or so), as soon as 3D-TVs appeared, I bought a big Samsung, brought it home, put on my glasses ... and the image just stopped "double" ...))).I even thought for a while that my household members were fooling me, admiring the way jugglers stick their hands out of the screen and fly out objects ... For the sake of interest, I tried all the technologies - and anaglyph, and polarization .. (There was a shutter technology at home on TV ) ... NOTHING !!! shok
And on these images, too, I do not see any pronounced effect.
Type Impossible Shapes! There are a lot of interesting things, for example, the discussed Penrose triangle (Roger Penrose, 1954), or the impossible cube of Escher! smile

Yes, you need to weld a little. Generally it will be cool. and the troll riddle is good ireful
But what is the point? ... Like, that a vertical post (which is cut out figured from the top, but not yet welded to anything) with this cut-out somehow “fits” to the far end of the horizontal?
P.S. I relate to those that seem to 13 percent of the “lucky” who do not see 3D ... Taking this opportunity, I want to ask: from the point of view of people who see 3D, is this strong effect?
Everything is obvious. The idea is good, but rudely done: it’s worth a little look and everything becomes clear.
Photoshop is not here!
Then take a closer look at the shadows! And the correct answer has already been given in the comments to the source! smile
