This spiral fountain is a recycled product. This is the case when the master, seeing the material decided to make a certain thing out of him, and not vice versa.
Tools and materials:
-Various metal products (electric motor parts, bolts, metal covers, springs, etc.);
-Welding machine;
-Cement;
-Clay pot;
-Gluing tape;
-Pliers;
-Pump;
-Paint;
-Cardboard;
-Scissors;
Step One: Wireframe
The master dismantled the spiral from the old electric motor.
Then the master wraps the wire around the tank.
Welds a spiral to it.
Welds the base.
Welds the rod. A spiral is welded to it in several places.
The frame is ready.
Step Two: Gutter
Now you need to make a gutter so that the water runs down. Since the part has a complex geometric shape, the gutter will be made of several parts. First, the wizard makes cardboard templates.
From a metal sheet cuts out patterns according to patterns. Welds them to the frame.
For fastening the master uses old nails.
Step Three: Spring
Along the edge of the spiral sets a strip of spring. The width of the strip was just enough to fix it.
Step Four: Prop
For support, the master took a saw blade and a board. I cut the board in the shape of a circle. Inside the board I carved a niche and secured the disk. I welded the bottom of the fountain to the disc.
Step Five: cement
Next you need to cover the gutter with cement.
First, the master glues the tape along the edge of the spiral.
It mixes the cement mixture and covers it with the gutter.
After drying, the cement covers it with latex.
Step Six: Water Supply
Water will be supplied through a copper pipe that wraps around a central rack.
A cup is attached at the top.
A tube is brought to it and a nozzle is soldered, to drain the water.
Step Seven: Pot
Now we need a tank in which the pump will be installed and water is poured. For this purpose, the master used a clay pot. It made a hole for the wire. He cleaned, painted and poured water. The neck of the pot is excellent in diameter to the base of the fountain.
Step Eight: Coloring
Then the master covers the gutter with a primer.
Paints the details of the fountain.
Step Nine: Drain Hole
At the bottom, drills a hole to drain the water into the pot. Closes it with a net. Connects the pump tubing to the copper tubing.
All is ready. It remains to fill the pot with water and turn on the pump. So the master did an interesting thing out of all kinds of rubbish.
