Another descendant of the Dominator

Good afternoon dear friends!
Perhaps some of you have seen or heard about my Emperor air model, based on the Dominator air model of Sergey Alexandrov.

But even if none of you knows anything about them, it’s still worthwhile to build with me an aircraft model with an all-round UVT called “Alex”.

There are practically no drawings, as always, except for this. .

I'll start with the pattern of the platform on which I will mount the whole model.

I attach the base of the fuselage to it and everything else ...

I hang the Elevons on double-sided tape.

The most difficult place in this model is the all-perspective controlled thrust vector.
The principle of operation is visible in these figures.
Another descendant of the Dominator

This is how it works on the model.

Next, we make the cabin. Each of you must do this as you wish.

in the process of building the model we fit it with colored tape.

That's probably all! By the New Year, there will be a gift under the tree - a new model.

That's how it looks on the background of white snow.

And this is the first take-off model aircraft "Alex"

Here is the model description:
Length - 1440 mm.
Span - 1220 mm.
Flight weight 1650 g.
Motor - Turnigy D3548 / 4 1100KV Brushless Outrunner Motor

3548 motor model, 1100KV - 1100 rpm,
Yes, I got excited, wrong, sorry.
Recently I wrote it on this site, it seems ... But I repeat ...
My grandfather once told me: "You do it so that it works PERFECTLY !!! ... And" a little worse "- it will work out by itself!" ... smoke
There are a lot of points that just need to be voiced ...

I agree. Yes, the author very modestly outlined the info. But as I already said - for one article all can not be explained.
What does this follow from?

from this
3548/4 1100KV

3548 model of the motor, 1100KV - 1100 revolutions per volt, what would the four ask and why the four. And which company to take is everyone’s business. Have money buy a tournament, no - buy a Chinese clone.
Which one, damn it?

Ailerons + elevators + rudders + motor = any four-channel, damn it. Well, you can put it on wheels and drive around the room, then two-channel is enough.
Moreover, you should not give stupid answers!

That's it to the point!
I'm afraid buying such a toy will cost a lot.

And, nevertheless, you will not say that only those who cannot buy are doing this! )))) ... And, conversely, who can buy - will never do!))))
Whatever “children's” hobby you consider aircraft modeling, adults fly on models now, as a rule,

That is why I took these words in quotation marks and highlighted the words “I understand and respect”.
Personally, everything from this article is clear to me, because I myself have already built several models from the ceiling.

But there are people who have never cooked brazier ....))))). But they want to! And they come here to find out the INFORMATION.
(As an example ... About the same barbecue (as a good example, it seems to be a simple homemade product) My friend ... a rather experienced person, recently cooked a barbecue from a two-millimeter stainless steel. At the same time, I bought a heat-resistant. (She very expensive.) ... Naturally, the barbecue twisted ....
And if I were looking for info on steels, the audience would have said that the term "heat-resistant" means only that it does not oxidize at high temperatures! And so that it does not twist, you need a "heat resistant". ...
And he was not even guarded by the obvious that barbecues, for some reason, all made them of black steel! ....
And everyone knew ... They just didn’t tell him ... boss
So, and in the braziers there are moments, mind you ...
And what can we say about a complex product that should fly? ... There are a lot of points that just need to be voiced ...
I'm afraid buying such a toy will cost a lot. Whatever “children's” hobby you consider aircraft modeling, adults usually fly on models now, for those times have passed when they flew on cords.
Again, I repeat that I did not want to offend anyone. Personally, everything from this article is clear to me, because I myself have already built several models from the ceiling.
Well, as the author himself already wrote, this model is clearly not for a beginner. Without piloting experience, the pilot will arrange a carrot for this aircraft in the first 5 seconds of the flight. Therefore, he did not go into details, because Before the construction of this model, a person must fly around and threaten at least a couple of caesen in the trash, and therefore he already knows what material is used and how to collect it.
Sometimes it’s scary for the people when I read such comments

Ceiling material
Brushless motor 3548 1100 revolutions per volt
What does this follow from? Why not Turnigy D3548 / 6 790KV, or C3548-800kv (HobbyKing), or not MTO3548-900-S, etc ...?
It is controlled by ... radio control equipment, damn it
Which one, damn it?
maybe you shouldn't ask stupid questions
Moreover, you should not give stupid answers! smile
And you read the rules of this site! ...
And then you will understand that this site publishes articles on the topic of homemade products in ALL areas of this lesson !!!
And here MANDATORY materials list! Because the goal here is not to BRAISE on homemade products, but DETAILS to describe the manufacturing process ... So that people can understand and REPEAT.
And the essence of this article is precisely “look how cool it turned out for me!” ... (Nobody argues with this - it turned out fine ... But WHERE DETAILS?
Silly questions, say ... So I, for example, have never suffered such a "childish garbage" (from my point of view, exclusively FOR ME), but I completely UNDERSTAND and, most importantly, RESPECT this hobby. So I’ll explain that I don’t need to delve into this topic - I won’t be interested in doing it ... I'd rather buy a toy if my grandchildren ask ...)))) (Children are unlikely ...). But SOMEONE wants to repeat .... Stupidly repeat ... Without delving into the topic ...

And about the "barbecue" ...Look, for example, in my "homemade products" - there is a barbecue ... Portable, true, but still ...
And yes ... I even indicated THICKNESS of metal in the list, because it is important! But he didn’t write about the welder - anyone will go ....
Author
"Only now .... why are there so many" commercial secrets "? ... There are no commercial secrets here, and there are no secrets here, but it's good that you saw some secret here! Such secrets often prompt a person to build something similar and uncover this "secret"!
Author
I accept the rebuke! I forgot to indicate what the whole model is made of! I repent! I will try to insert an addition to the article. The model is made of a simple sheet substrate for a laminate with a size of 1000 x 500 x 5 mm. Glue used universal "CIN". But in general it is not so important. The model can be made from anything if there is a suitable motor with sufficient traction. This model is designed for trained aircraft models and it will be difficult for a beginner to manage it.
It is sometimes frightening for people to read such comments.
Ceiling material
Brushless motor 3548 1100 revolutions per volt
in the last photo you can clearly see where it stands
It is controlled by ... radio control equipment, damn it.

For example, I really don’t know what flying models are made of

And no one in one article will teach you how to build models. For all needs, its own material, for each material its own glue and processing features, whole forums are devoted to electronics in general.
I don’t want to offend anyone, but maybe it’s not worth asking stupid questions without spending a single drop of time studying the topic? Well, seriously, I present an article about "barbecue with your own hands", and below are comments:

I haven’t written a word about electrodes;
and which welder ?;
What did the barbecue make? Will a tree fit?
I'll start with the pattern of the platform on which I will mount the entire model.

Of what? Will sheet steel go? scratch

And et ...
And how is it buzzing? ... You wrote about a motor above ... Is it installed somewhere in it? ...
And why did they keep silent about this? .... boss
Uh ... And how is it controlled? ... Astral contact? acute

I’m what it is .... Really interesting happened ... Good job ...
Only now .... why are there so many "trade secrets"? ... For example, I really don’t know what flying models are made of !!! Again, there is a motor in the description ... And there’s not a word about where and how it was installed and how it is controlled, what it is powered from, and where it is placed and what is glued! ....
