Side table with backlight

In my the garage for a long time lay a piece of plexiglass (it is now called acrylic). Dimensions in cm 50x48x3.5, I did not know what to do with it, I thought I would make some kind of lamp, but it is very heavy and laser cutting, to put it mildly, is very far from me, and I made a table for the yard. All plastic, acrylic plus pipe legs.


The legs were soldered from a plastic pipe and painted.

To highlight the table, I bought 3-V LEDs and drilled holes for them in the middle of the plate.





Then I soldered them in parallel using a solid wire from utp cable. There were 30 LEDs. And he brought out the wires at the bottom of the table, connecting them to lithium batteries directly, through the power button. And collecting everything in a plastic case and added a battery charge board to it.



The batteries had a capacity of 1800 mAh and they have enough hours for five work illumination of the table.

And yes, I forgot to write. Plexiglass on one side was painted with light-accumulating paints and glued with aluminum foil and several layers of adhesive tape on top of the foil. Where without tape)))).
