Hello to lovers of two-wheeled horses, the snow has already almost disappeared, it will soon be possible to ride. And for a ride that brings even greater fruit, we need such a thing for a bicycle as trailer. So it will be convenient to go shopping to the store, it will be possible to transport building materials, take out garbage and much more. The proposed construction of a bicycle trailer is quite simple and reliable, profile pipes are used as the main material, which can be found in almost any hardware store. Materials and tools used by the author:

Homemade manufacturing process:
Step one. Frame
First of all, we weld the frame, this part of the work is the most difficult and longest, the frame is assembled from shaped pipes. First, make a drawing of the trailer, determine the size, and then cut the desired number of blanks. You will need to cut it at a clearly defined angle, so here a miter saw will come to our aid. You can cope with the grinder, but you need to mark everything up first.
When all the blanks are ready, we weld the frame, we clean the welds, now the product looks monolithic and beautiful.
To fasten the wheels on the sides, additional arcs need to be welded, this will allow each wheel to be mounted on both sides.
Step Two Wheel mounts
We make fastenings for the wheels, here we need thick sheet metal, just 4 pieces of brackets are needed and it should be the same. We make the markup and cut out 4 parts. Next, we need to make a slotted hole along the diameter of the axles of the wheels. We drill holes, and then cut slots to them with a tape machine.
The author first sets the axis through the entire frame in order to understand exactly where the brackets should be. Well, then you can screw the wheels.
Step Three Drawbar
We assemble the drawbar, here we need a round pipe, the drawbar will be mounted on the side of the bicycle, so we weld it at an appropriate angle. To weld round pipes, we use a grinder to select metal in them, as the author in the photo.
Step Four Mount
The author makes a separate mount for the bike, for a start we need profile pipes, of which we need to weld a structure that will bend the fork on one side. We weld a hinge to this part; as a hinge, you can use the lower spherical support from VAZ "Classic" or similar.
And this whole thing will be attached under the seat to the fork. We cut out the part from thick sheet iron, it will have to be fastened with a bolt with a nut and an additional corner. The whole design is removable.
Step Five Coupling device and tests
We make a hitch that allows you to quickly connect and disconnect the trailer. We make two ears of sheet iron and weld them to the end of the drawbar so that we get a fork. That's all, after that the trailer is ready, but you still need to install the casing, of course, plywood, OSB, galvanizing or other similar sheet material will do.
The author rode a bicycle with an empty trailer, the trailer turns perfectly, passes through obstacles and so on. The trailer must also cope with the load without any problems.
