Night walks with the dog are uncomfortable for several points. Firstly, in the dark you can lose your pet, and secondly, the dog is not visible to drivers, and it can get under car.
The master decided to make his dog a nozzle for a collar into which LEDs are mounted. The nozzle has several glow modes and a rechargeable battery.
Tools and materials:
-Arduino Nano;
-LiPo battery 3.7 V 350 mAh, battery size: 38 mm x 20 mm x 7.5 mm;
- TP4056 charging module;
- Resistor 4.7 kOhm;
-RGB - LEDs WS2812 - 10 pcs;
-Microswitch;
-3D printer;
-Cable ties 5 pcs;
-Glue gun;
-Soldering accessories;
-Wire;
- Strip of plastic 15 cm to 1 cm;
-Collar;
Step One: 3D Printing
The master made several models of collars. The most recent turned out to be the most successful. The file for 3D printing can be downloaded. This design provides maximum dog safety, comfort and convenience for quick attachment.
Step Two: LEDs, Arduino
Electronics going according to the scheme in the photo (the master combined the scheme with other photos).
LEDs are installed in the holes in the device body and fixed with hot-melt adhesive. We must not forget to orient them in one position, for the convenience of subsequent installation.
Connects Arduino. Loads the code (). Testing the operation of electronics.
Step Three: Battery
Connects the battery and charging module. Assembles the body of the device and secures it to the collar.
Everything is ready, now you can walk the dog at night.
