Restoration, restoration of columns ELECTRONICS D1-012 STEREO, completion and modernization

When, maybe 10 years ago, a neighbor drove me to a column of ale, ELECTRONICS D1-012 car stereo. Somewhere he grabbed them, maybe he wanted to garage stir up, but for some reason gave it to me) At that moment the speakers themselves were not interesting to me, I wanted to clog as many speakers as possible in the trunk. Ponte, volume, a lot of light, all things. Well, here with such a fit, it was immediately decided to stir up the side panels in the trunk. Years passed, the panels got in the way and were tired and did not sound as we would like. Last summer, I just took off the second amp and turned them off. (2018) a couple of months later decided that it was better to make a better sound in the garage. These speakers in their native cases did not sound super, but the amplifier itself is critical for them, what sound you give, they will sing.

It’s good that I didn’t throw away the old cases at one time, I’m still a plyushkin) All these years the cases were on the mezzanine and all kinds of spare parts were lying in them))) Well, that was the background, then everything is clear from the video.

I took out the old cases from the speakers from the mezzanine, and decided to restore them. But since the native front panels were lost and the appearance of the speakers is very sad, I decided to paint them in a catchy color and refresh the look. Unnecessary paint cylinders were just lying around, it was necessary to finish them off, the red paint is the thing.

Plus I also remembered the name of the channel, adjusted the size of the inscription, printed it and made a stencil. Put on the side panels, it looks cool. Well, and where without our favorite LEDs. NEED MORE LEDs ... I made a tweeter surround from the tape and paralleled it to the woofer.

By the time it turned out 2 weeks, in fact, it would have gone in 2-3 evenings, but there was no time. Now in the garage is busy with something else, then you start to shoot, and then bring someone hard. People are wild, they don’t understand why I’m filming all this and I’m leading my channel to the fig. In general, almost no support. I hope you enjoyed the video, it turned out to be quite long.
