This master lamp was made of ash cut a year ago. The wood has dried, matured and is ready for further processing.

Step One: Material Procurement
As previously reported, the slab master sawed off ash. Within a year, he dried in his the garage.
Step Two: Bark
Over the year, the slab dried up, and in some places the bark slightly moved away from the board. To fix the bark, the master uses acrylic resin. The resin is injected with a syringe between the bark and the board. But before this operation, the master cleans the bark with a metal brush.
Step Three: Cut
Next, you need to determine the cut line. Along the line, on both sides, the cutter master cuts a groove. Then he knocks out the middle with a hammer. Both the middle part and the outer ring will be needed in further work.
The master processes the ring and the inside with a mill.
Step Four: Groove
Next, the master takes the core and, along the perimeter of the side, cuts out the groove for the LED strip. It cuts the ring on one side and makes a small cut in the core. These are slots for the wire.
Step Five: LED Strip
Glues the LED strip into the groove of the core. Installs the core in the ring. Connects wires.
Step Six: Fill
Tape one side with tape.
Knead resin with hardener and acrylic dye. Fills between the ring and the core.
Seventh step: milling, grinding
After curing the resin, the master removes the adhesive tape and processes both surfaces with a milling cutter mounted on the guide.
Then polishes the surface.
After polishing, it covers the lamp with Danish oil.
Step Eight: Suspension
To fix the lamp, the master tightens three screw-hook fasteners.
Fastens the cables to the hooks.
Extends the wires on the power supply.
Suspends the lamp from the ceiling. Mounts power.
All is ready.
