Today I want to show you a couple of aircraft models that are my experiments.
At one time I was very interested in LC and, in particular, with a direct flying wing. Some photos and videos about them set me up for this.
I created the first experimental wing by looking at this photo.
As usual, I started with making a wing. I picked up a suitable profile, cut ribs and a wing - that's it.
Then I got the idea to do this model universal, so that you can take off from any surface and at any time of the year.
Immediately after the details for the fuselage, I made blanks for floats. The main thing is that on the floats the protrusions of the redans exactly coincide with the CT models, I shifted them forward a bit.
I tried on, all the details in their place and pasted.
Yes, I forgot to say that I make my experimental aircraft models from a simple, sheet substrate for a laminate. size 1000 X 500 X 5 mm.
And glue I use waterproof, universal "KIN".
I also use double-sided and color tape.
I cut the keel, I made it from two layers of the substrate and immediately mounted it in place. Glued the upper and lower planes on the floats and nose of the fuselage.
I wanted to start covering with colored tape, but here my friend arrived, saw this semi-finished product and asked for an unfinished model as a present. It will be interesting to see how he finishes it ... while he is resting in Turkey.
Nothing to do - give it away! For a dear friend and an earring from an abalone - the proverb says!
I gave it, but I gave it some thoughts. I decided to continue my experiments. Now I have taken as a basis this drawing.
It all started from scratch!
Wings did exactly the same, but made the endings on them. It turned out something interesting and beautiful.
I glued the sides of the fuselage and glued the substrate under the cockpit in the nose of the fuselage. Instead of a pilot, he put a small doll in the cockpit and took it from his great-granddaughter. This doll is called Alice.
Glued the bottom surface of the fuselage and hung the ailerons. Elevons hung on double-sided tape.
When gluing various elements of the model I use technological stickers from masking tape.
Made cutouts for installing keels.
He cut and glued keels from two layers of substrate, covered them with black adhesive tape and stuck broken hearts ...
I decided to call the aircraft model by the name of the chrysalis - “Alice”.
He began a local covering of the model with colored tape.
I cut the lantern of the cabin from a plastic bottle. It turned out a good cockpit.
I cut out the inscriptions from paper and secured them with transparent adhesive tape.
So, imperceptibly, the work came to an end.
I installed on the model the chassis that remained from the broken model.
True, they are not entirely suitable for this model, but they will do for the first flight, later I will do others.
Installed a motor with a screw.
The result was a very interesting, unusual aircraft model.
That's how it looks on a withering, autumn grass.
And this is before the first flight.
A bit about the size of the models and electronics.
Length - 450 mm.
Span - 1000mm.
Motor - 2828/10 2200kV.
Screw - 7 X 6.
The regulator is 60 A.
Servos - MG90S.
