Double corner connection of a profile pipe

Hello dear readers andthe inhabitants of our site!
Many of you work with metal, in particular profile pipes. When assembling various designs, it is often required to connect three such pipes in one corner, for example, in the manufacture of tables.

In this article, the author of Be Creative’s YouTube channel will tell you how to make such a connection quickly and correctly.

This type of connection looks very aesthetically pleasing and also has excellent durability.

Materials
- Profile pipe.

Instruments, used by the author.
—
—
—
-, cleaning disc
—
- Hammer
- Square, marker.

Manufacturing process.
First of all, the author notes an angle of 45 degrees at the ends of the blanks. This is necessary if you will make this connection with a grinder.

Sets the emphasis on the miter saw table at 45 degrees, and makes the first cut.

Now turns the workpiece 90 degrees, and makes a second cut.

It turns out a very interesting shape of the end of the profile pipe. In this way, the rest of the workpiece is processed.

The burrs are removed from the workpieces by a grinder with a cleaning disk.

You probably already guessed why it was necessary to cut the details so, and how is it going to continue?

Connecting two workpieces with a magnet for welding at an angle of 90 degrees, grabs them together.

Now grabs the third workpiece.

Next, you need to thoroughly boil all the seams.

Slag from the seams is removed with a special welder's hammer, the manufacture of which was described in a recent article. Then the seams are cleaned with a grinder.

Here is a high-quality, and beautiful connection turned out by the master. In the same way, you can connect parts at obtuse or sharp angles, exposing stops under them on the table. In addition, it can be used for round metal pipes and rounds, only it will be necessary to very accurately deploy the workpieces in the miter saw 90 degrees. The same connection can be realized for wooden blocks, and instead of welding, use dowels, corners, or a screw type connection.

I thank the author for the simple but useful device for the workshop!
All good mood, good luck, and interesting ideas!

it makes sense if you weld a circle. On a square, it is easier and faster to weld at the end, with the trimming of two profiles under 45.

well done!

Then, what are you Vasya. It follows from one phrase.
nor what

I will make a frame for the table. I will do just that. And Andrei didn’t even hold a grinder in his hands.

why complicate things like that? meaning? if then everything is cleaned and painted, no difference in the end will be seen that you just welded the ends sawn under 90 *, which was checked with the adjustment of complex saw cuts.
