Manufacturing process homemade:
Step one. Frame assembly and axle installation
We cut the materials and assemble the frame, as a material, bars or something similar will do. We fasten the rear beam with self-tapping screws, and the front one needs to be fixed through the hinge so that it can turn. A threaded rod with large washers and nuts can be fitted as a hinge.
We attach the axles to the beams, threaded rods are suitable as axles. Fasteners for axles can be made of non-thick sheet metal, fasten fasteners with screws.
Step Two Seat
We make the basis for sitting, the author used the boards, we fasten them to the frame with screws. Next, we fasten the plastic seat to the prepared base. Such a seat can be obtained by cutting off the legs of a plastic chair.
Step Three Steering
The author made the steering shaft from a piece of a plumbing pipe, and a wheel from a stroller or the like can serve as a steering wheel. We attach steel hooks to the steering shaft, as well as to the edges of the steering beam. We connect the steering shaft to the front axle with steel cables, that's all, now the machine can be controlled!
Step Four Engine installation
The author decided to install as many as two engines on the cards, although one would be enough. We fasten the motors with plastic ties. Torque to the wheels from the motors is transmitted through the outer ribbed part of the drill chuck. To improve grip, you can glue the cartridges with rubber from a bicycle chamber or the like.We connect the motors synchronously so that both wheels move the car forward.
Step Five Pedal and headlight
We make a pedal from a piece of a board and a door hinge, we also make a good contact group, you can use coins from non-ferrous metal. The author also decided to put on the car and headlight, so the effect of the ride is much more interesting. As a headlight, we use an LED strip, it can be connected synchronously with the motors.
The machine has no brakes, it goes slowly, and it slows down quickly with motors, so it won’t go far.
Homemade is ready, you can test, we sit on the child’s car and observe. The child is happy, homemade rides, and this is important. For games in the yard, homemade is quite enough.
