This is intended device for measuring parameters (pitch and profile) of internal and external threaded connections. The thread gauge is a set of gear profiles fixed in the tool body and freely rotating on the axes. A total of 52 types of threaded connections can be measured with this tool. It is suitable for both metric (angle 60 °) and inch threads (angle 55 °). The pitch of the corresponding threaded connection is stamped on each plate (on the one hand for the metric and on the other for the inch), so that over time the values will not be erased. According to the seller, with the exception of plastic screws, the tool is completely made of hardened steel. The dimensions of the thread gauge are 67 mm x 17 mm x 13 mm (length x width x height). In most cases, the results shown by this tool are true. Note that a simple plastic case is also included with the thread gauge.
