Such a casing is intended for the removal of dust and all kinds of small particles that appear when cleaning surfaces from putty, plaster and other coatings using an angle grinder. Device made of fairly thick transparent polycarbonate; during operation, it does not bend or deform. The diameter of the casing is about 150 mm, the height is about 75 mm. Suitable casing for the "grinder" with a diameter of a circle from 100 mm to 125 mm. This nozzle with diamond cups and flexible grinding wheels is used. The casing is attached to the instrument using a metal worm clamp (working diameter from 33 mm to 57 mm).
A brush seal is provided around the nozzle, which delays the spread of dust and provides a more snug fit of the casing to the work surface. For processing corners, it is possible to dismantle a part of the body with a brush. Note that you can also adjust the depth of the casing relative to the snap by tightening the spring-loaded screws. So, the stronger the screws are tightened, the deeper the cup body sits. Due to this, you can set the working edge of the equipment flush with the brush. The adjustment range is wide enough and allows you to adapt the nozzle in the best way for a specific type of equipment. The nozzle for connecting a construction vacuum cleaner has an internal diameter of 35 mm - most likely, an adapter is required.
In operation, the casing shows itself more than worthy, captures most of the dust. Similar in the territory are sold much more expensive.
