Materials: lime planks 10 mm thick, balsa or polystyrene, tin, plexiglass or plastic, brass.
Between the lower and upper linden planks with a thickness of 10 mm, a linden bar is glued. He is given the shape of the body in accordance with the dimensions indicated in the figures. If there is no linden, balsa or polystyrene can be used as filler. In the manufacture of the car body model, a solid bracket is provided for the cord strap, taking into account the center of gravity of the model. The cab is hollowed out or drilled from above to the bottom plank, and the driver's seat, dashboard and control stick are placed in it. It is most advisable to solder these elements from tin together and completely lower them into the drilled hole.
top plank. Skis are made of brass with a thickness of 1.5 mm. For the best glide along the longitudinal axis of the ski sole, a skid of steel wire with a diameter of 2-2.5 mm is soldered.
The rear skis are suspended on a three-leaf brass or steel spring using the screw and nut from the “Designer” kit.
The front ski is suspended from a steel rack rigidly fixed in the bow by a small screw and nut. Pusher propeller, wooden or plastic, ask for help to make an aircraft modeller or read the relevant literature. The diameter and pitch of the screw are selected empirically, depending on engine power.
The body of the model of autosledges (crafts) should be puttied with nitro-putty and well sanded. The model is painted with nitro paints.
