A bow saw is a necessary and useful tool in the household. In this article, the Master will share his experience in the manufacture of such a saw.

Step One: Material Procurement
Racks master carved from a nut board. Racks have a curved shape. On them will be glued pads carved from bamboo. The spacer is also made from a walnut board with bamboo overlays. To stick the strips, the master made a template.
Step Two: Build
Initially, the master wanted to stick bamboo slats using a template that follows the shape of the blanks, but when gluing, he used clamps. It’s easier to control the process, it’s easier to wipe the protruding glue. On the side of the spacer, Morse code, the master carved the names of his grandchildren.
At the bottom of the racks makes a hole for installing the canvas. The canvas is fixed with wooden stoppers. Racks are connected by a spike by a thorn / groove method. At the top, the bowstring is pulled with a twist.
Step Three: Cover
After manufacturing, the master varnished the wooden parts.
Now you need to assemble the saw.
