In the summer I tried to mow perennial grass in the garden. Mows well, but over time, the belt stretches. The belt tension mechanism is not adjustable. The mower stops mowing, and this is in the midst of haymaking. It is necessary to change the belt to a new one. And this time and additional costs.
To eliminate this drawback, I redid the belt tension mechanism.
He took the lever for activating the hand brake from the VAZ01 and fixed it to the mechanism by welding.
All pulleys remained in place.
Now you can adjust the belt tension using the lever and traction.
In addition, it replaced the segments on the rotor disk. I bought segments from the cutting apparatus of the DON 1500 combine. Drilled holes with a diameter of 10mm. With the help of a grinder, I cut off the excess parts and we got such a segment.
