It's fun homemadenot requiring a lot of money or time. Cats love to hide, and this rounded top makes the house a suitable secluded place. My nieces thought that I would add curtains to the sides ... and I got a lot more advice from them. They wanted me to draw a fish on the Kotodomika, hanging it inside the toy. Ideas are good, aren't they?
Step 1: Materials for a modern round cottage

Step 2: Cutting the mold for the cottage house
From a pipe 120 cm long, you can make 3 houses for cats. For one, measure with a tape measure 40 cm of pipe and cut.
I cut the pipe with a hacksaw, it turned out 3 pieces of 40 cm.
Step 3: Two more cuts for the stand
Draw a straight line along the pipe from edge to edge, step back about 16 cm from it, and draw another such longitudinal line.
Cut a piece of pipe with a hacksaw, which will then serve as the foundation for the house.
Sand all cuts with sandpaper so that there are no hard edges.
Step 4: draw and glue
Using a brush, I painted the outside of the house with acrylic paint. This paint dries very quickly, so after a few minutes everything was ready.
Then take glue and paper clips, apply a thick strip of glue in the middle of the base. We glue the house to it. Just put it on the stand, fastening the edges of both parts with clamps until the glue dries. It took me 30 minutes with my glue.
If you have a piece of foam, stick it to the bottom of the house before you stick the house to the foundation.
Note: If you decide to paint the interior of the house - be careful! I added some water to the acrylic paint to thin the texture and then applied it to the surface. As a result, the upper rounded edge began to soften a little, losing its dense shape.
To fix this, I fastened the edge with paper clips with the bottom edge for 15 minutes, this returned the house to its round shape.
Step 5: Finish
Lay the cat something soft like a blanket, and the house is ready to receive residents! I did not fasten the blanket because I wanted to be able to wash and change the bedding. I hope you enjoyed my idea for a housekeeper! From the remains of the pipe, you can make one or two of these houses.
