To make a barrel of honey you need:
- pine block 48x48 mm;
- wood cutter;
- angular chisel;
- cautery on wood.
Making a barrel with honey:
On a bar we measure a length of 7 cm. Cut it off. This is our workpiece.
For further processing of the workpiece, we need a wood cutter. With a pencil, we draw a circle on the top of the bar with a diameter of 4 cm. It is very important to keep it held so that the fibers go vertically.
Only after observing this rule, we begin to remove excess material along the intended radius.
As a result, it is necessary to obtain a cylinder.
With a pencil, we outline the border of the upper hoop and begin to round the upper part with a cutter.
To give volume to the hoop, it is necessary to make an incision along its upper boundary and slowly remove the material from the top of the barrel to the cut line.
It should turn out to be a little sill.
We perform the same procedure with the lower part of our barrel.
On the untreated borders of the hoops we also make cuts and remove excess material.
We do this in such a way that we get two voluminous hoops.
Now we will work with a corner chisel. It is needed in order to show each riveting (plaque) on the barrel.
We outline the lines along which we will make indentations, and begin to remove excess material.
Now we have shallow grooves and our blank has become like a barrel
With a burner we apply a picture: rivets on hoops, the lid and bottom of the barrel, as well as the inscription Honey
Optionally, the keg can be opened with varnish
