How to make a cache from a self-tapping screw with your own hands

Each person has small objects that he wants to hide from prying eyes. As you know, in order to hide something, you need to put it in the most visible place or disguise it as the most ordinary object. Our “most common item” will be a self-tapping screw that will help bury your secret.

So, let's see the video:

To make a cache we need:
- drill;
- not a small self-tapping screw;
- a piece of the rod from the felt-tip pen;
- a drill in diameter of a thick self-tapping screw;
- thin self-tapping screw;
- sandpaper;
- a piece of a small thin wire.

First of all, take the core of the felt-tip pen (it should already be well washed and not dirty your hands) and get out all the cotton wool with which the core is filled. It should be a regular tube.

Now take a self-tapping screw and sanding off the thread along its entire length. You can leave the thread only at the very base of the cap.

Next, we put on a tube (freed from cotton wool) from a felt-tip pen on a thick self-tapping screw. The tube snaps into the moment where we cut the thread.
The edge of the connection between the self-tapping screw and the tube is fixed with wire. The wire should wrap the tube very tightly so that it does not come off. At the ends, the wire is twisted so as not to unwind. Do not forget to pinch the wire with something.

Next we need a drill. We insert a drill into it.

Now we are drilling a hole for our cache. It is not necessary to make a cache in the wall, it can be in a closet, in a bed, in a bedside table, in general, any place where a self-tapping screw is appropriate will look good.

We take a piece of paper with passwords, money or any small detail that we will hide. We fold a piece of paper or money into a thin tube so that it fits in the core of the felt-tip pen.

Next, insert the screw into the drilled hole. In order not to arouse suspicion, we screw it there with a screwdriver.

You can remove a piece of paper or money from their core with a thin self-tapping screw, just insert it into the opening and take it out. The paper will go after the self-tapping screw.

By hiding money in a bolt, no one will guess that it could be a cache.Even if you confess about the cache, then without you no one will find it, because you will need to unscrew all the bolts from of furniture and other surfaces. To be convincing, use not a new shiny self-tapping screw, but already tanned from time to time.
