Around us is constantly electromagnetic radiation, but it is not accessible to the human hearing. If you want to hear electromagnetic radiation, then you can use a special device that we will make with our own hands.
Let's see how the author does this in the video:
To manufacture an electromagnetic radiation detector, we need:
- old cassette player;
- glue;
The cassette player must be disassembled and the board removed from the case. It is recommended to familiarize yourself with the board not only for self-development, but also so that during assembly and disassembly of this device not to break any parts. This part is very sensitive to electromagnetic waves.
The most important part on the board is the read head, which will come in handy later on.
Near the read head there are two wires that are bolted. These bolts will need to be unscrewed. After we unscrew the bolts, a reading head should remain, which will hang on the loop. You need to be extremely careful with her so as not to tear her off.
Next, we assemble the board again into the case, and glue the head to the outside of the case with glue.
If the player does not have an external speaker, then we attach ordinary headphones to a special connector to help us hear electromagnetic waves.
Now we lean the reading head against the TV. We can hear electromagnetic radiation. Radiation can be heard at a distance of up to 40 cm, the further we move away, the worse the sound will be heard. It is important to note that the old TV (cube) gives us much radiation.
If we connect our device to a new generation of TVs (liquid crystal), then we will also hear interference, but not as strong.
A big surprise was the fact that even the remote control for the TV emits electromagnetic radiation.
It's no secret that radiation comes from the phone. When checking, the sound was similar to the one when you call and your speakers are turned on.Radiation comes from absolutely any phone, even from the coolest and trickiest, while it is not necessary to dial a number, you can get on the Internet.
Electromagnetic radiation emit even ordinary phone charges and a door handle.
Using a regular player, you can hear radiation that is not heard by the ears and is not visible by the eyes.
