It turns out that out of ordinary carrots you can make a musical instrument - a pipe. Of course, its sound will not be perfect, because it is just a toy. But kids will definitely enjoy the carrot pipe.

Tools and materials for manufacturing

• Knife;
• Feather drill;
• Ordinary drill;

Manufacture

First, find the right carrot. Its length should be approximately 20 centimeters. The fetus should not have any damage.

Cut off the tip from the carrots.

Using a drill, make a hole in the carrot. The drill can be rotated by hand, but it is better to use a drill - the walls of the hole turn out more even.

Make an incision near the base of the carrot. Subsequently, air will come out of it.

From the previously cut tip of the carrot, make a stub. Then insert it into the hole in the carrots. In this case, the plug must fit tightly into the hole, otherwise it will fall out when using the pipe.

Drill two small holes at a distance of 4 and 6.5 cm from the slot. Using them, you can adjust the tone of the sound.

So, the carrot pipe is ready. To play it, attach it to your lips and blow it. The pipe will make a squealing sound.
