Just a few years ago robots were considered something fantastic. Science fiction wrote about them, they appeared in Hollywood films. Today, however, the word robot does not shock anyone like it was in the last century. Today, robots can see, speak, build, play football and keep an eye on children. In this article, we will consider a method of manufacturing a simple artist-robot who, although he does not repeat the creative path of Leonardo da Vinci, will surprise with his original abstract drawings.
As always, the first thing we bring to your attention is a video on making a homemade robot artist.
So what we need:
- cooler;
- rechargeable battery;
- several markers;
- elastic bands for notes.
Everything is extremely clear with the materials, so without losing an extra minute, let's move on to assembling our robot. First of all, we need to break the three cooler blades.
On coolers there are angular openings for fastenings. The next thing we need to insert the rubber bands for notes in these holes and fix the markers with them. Author homemade advises the use of water-based markers that are easy to wipe in unforeseen situations.
Next, we need to adjust all the markers so that they are on the same level.
The next step is to remove the caps from the markers and set the design on a piece of paper.
Now we connect the wires coming from the fan to the battery. It should be clarified that the red wire is positive, and the black is negative.
Since in the first step we broke off three cooler blades, he lost his balance. Thus, when the cooler is connected to a power source, which in our case is a rechargeable battery, it starts to swing. Markers attached to the cooler begin to draw patterns, and when the patterns begin to go beyond, we only need to turn the cooler in the right direction.
In such a simple way, in just a few minutes you can get a primitive design of a robot artist, whose works, although they will not go under the hammer for several million dollars, will definitely amuse family members, friends and relatives, giving them a lot of pleasant impressions.
