We make a stabilizer for the camera from PVC pipes

The world's leading manufacturers of video equipment have long been offering customers cameras with built-in stabilizers. However, such cameras, as a rule, cost a lot of money and are not accessible to everyone. Often you have to be content with budget solutions that do not have high-quality stabilization, as a result of which the videos and photos are high-quality in terms of resolution, but lame in terms of stabilization. We will consider the solution to this problem in this material.

We offer you to watch a video on the manufacture of a simple stabilizer for the camera

Now we will deal with the necessary materials:
- three PVC tubes 14 cm long;
- 6 tubes 16 cm long;
- 2 tees;
- 6 doubles, also called knees;
- file;
- glue gun.

Exclusively all materials can be purchased at a technical store, especially since it will cost quite inexpensively. We also need a tripod stand. Everything is clear with the materials, you can proceed to the simple assembly process.

We take two 14 centimeter tubes and put on them 2 doubles from each end.

After that, we take two 16 centimeter tubes. We connect them together with one tee.

Repeat the process with two more tubes.

Thus, we obtained two workpieces from 16 cm pipes and 2 workpieces from 14 cm. We take a workpiece from 16 cm pipes and put on the ends of the workpiece from 14 cm pipes.

In the remaining holes at the second ends of the short blanks, we insert the remaining long blank, thus obtaining a rectangle.

In the middle of the long sides of the rectangle, there is one hole left on the tees. We take two 16 cm pipes and poke them into these holes, one in each direction.

We put one more bend on the vertical 16 cm pipe.

Finally, close the structure with another 14 cm pipe.

The bottom tube, on which the camera will cling, needs to be slightly sharpened with a file to keep the camera as precise as possible. To do this, remove the marks on the pipe to the size of the platform for the tripod. We grind the place of attachment of the platform, and then glue it with an ordinary glue gun.

The stabilizer is ready.

With all due respect to the author of the article, it is very weak to believe in the effectiveness of this stabilization device, because in our time the technology of stabilizers for cameras has gone very far and simple mechanical stabilizers do not meet the needs of users, especially if they are shooting commercial projects in the field of event video. At the videographers forum, backgammon discusses serious factory products: http://www.videographer.su/forums/index.php?showtopic=6295 and even they do not suit everyone in terms of their efficiency in work, so what can we say about home-made options stabilizers.
