If you are an avid fisherman or just like to relax with a fishing rod in a pond, then this article is for you! Today in this article I want to tell you about how you can make a universal container that is ideal for fishermen to store worms.
For this homemade we will need two cut-off necks from multi-liter bottles or, as everyone used to call them, “cups” and one handle from this multi-liter bottle:
We make many small holes in one of the covers (this is done for ventilation, so that the worms do not suffocate while you go fishing).
Next, you need to fasten the two trimmed neck. This can be done with a soldering iron and then secure everything with adhesive tape more reliably, or put these two necks on a hot plate and then lean them tightly against each other as shown in the photo below:
The container for storing worms is ready! We twist the bottom of the container with the lid, put on the handle and put the worms and the earth inside.
Now we twist the top of our container and get this construction:
Now the fun part! As you know, worms located in a tank will always be located at the bottom of this tank, and you need to try to pull the worm out of the bottom. But ... not in our case. We simply turn the container upside down and unscrew the lid. The worms were on top and getting them is not any difficulty.
Now I will explain why at the beginning of my text I said that the container is universal. This container is not necessary to use for fishing (storing worms), but, for example, for storing salt or pepper it is also ideal, and thanks to the holes we made at the top of the container, you will use it like a salt shaker!
