The bedroom is one of the most comfortable and favorite places in the house, so I really want to bring stylish elements to its interior that create coziness, and at the same time, pleasing with its functionality.
For example, for additional lighting, you can make do it yourself wall lights - sconces that will give dim diffused light, so appropriate in the bedroom. We want to please cat lovers and offer to make lamps in the form of these graceful animals. But if you don’t like this idea, then you can find a stencil to your taste. The main thing - the principle of manufacturing fixtures will remain the same.
The necessary materials for the manufacture of lamps for the bedroom:
- MDF boards 12 mm thick
- 2 aluminum strips for mounting
- 3 fluorescent lamps with bracket
- screws 12 mm long and 3 mm thick
- plastic anchor bolts for drywall
- drill
- sandpaper
- paint: white and the color of the walls
Select the appropriate templates, enlarge them to the desired size, print and transfer to MDF sheets.
Using a jigsaw, cut out the figures, clean their edges with sandpaper.
Paint the resulting figures: on the inside, apply white acrylic paint, it reflects light perfectly, and on the outside - paint to match the color of the walls or wallpaper.
Bend the aluminum strip as shown in the following photo and attach it on the inside of the figures (painted white).
Attach the lamp brackets to the wall with plastic anchor bolts, and then fix the cats silhouettes in the same way.
Your lights are ready!
