We draw your attention to an interesting design project for the manufacture of an unusual chair.
Low cash costs and a pretty attractive look can be a great addition to your home.
The hose diameter in this project is 1.9-2 centimeters and approximately 13.7 meters long. We use hard rubber.
This chair is really very comfortable. Note that the gaps should be narrow enough, and tightly intertwined so that the weight is evenly distributed.
The width of the chair will be 56 centimeters.
Also for the manufacture we need:
• Plywood sheet 1.9 cm wide.
• 4 threaded rods with nuts and washers.
• Drill
• Sanding machine or sandpaper
• weave
• Polyurethane
• Wax
Step 1: Preparing the Chair Details
From the sheet of plywood we make the legs of the chair, which will have an obtuse angle of about 100 degrees, and the length of each leg is 45.7-46 cm. Make sure that the width of the narrowest place should be at least 10.2 cm.
Lay out your parts and use a band saw or a jigsaw to cut equal parts from the central part 4.
Your prepared parts must match the photo.
Step 2: making holes
Measure the diameter of the hose and calculate the spacing of the holes, they should be 1 cm below the edge of the plywood. Make each hole 0.3 cm larger than the hose so that it can rotate. Drill a wooden plank first on one side, then turn it over to the other and do it too, this is done in order to avoid torn holes.
Follow the hole position shown in the photo.
Step 3: Finish Up
Work the edges of the plywood and make the chair smoother to the touch with a grinder or sandpaper of different grain sizes. You can round the corners at will.
Using the threaded rods and wrench, assemble 3 support elements to strengthen the chair frame.
It's time to apply 2-3 layers of polyurethane with a soft cloth. After the surface has dried, apply wax to achieve smoothness.
Step 4: pulling the hose
Now fasten the hose at one end with a screw and a wrench and pull it into the parallel hole.When pulling, pull the hose with both hands as hard as you can. At the very end, fasten the hose with a screw.
