Country house - A place for a family vacation, which is always distinguished by warmth, comfort, excellent mood. Unfortunately, the world today does not provide us with the opportunity to be there often, except on weekends and May holidays. Only once a year for the whole summer can we go to our paradise. Why paradise? Yes, because in the country house and on the site we can make everything do it yourself from improvised materials, giving this place a special fabulousness and originality.
So I, in anticipation of the approaching summer and vacation, had already begun packing my bags for the cottage. And this year I want to embellish my cottage with something, add a twist. In search of this very highlight, I looked through a huge number of workshops. Most of all I liked the idea of creating an unusual mailbox from silt bars. Although I’m not a fan of letters and newspapers, I don’t especially use a mailbox, but with such a novelty I can significantly transform the entrance zone of my site.
So, how to make such a mailbox? The author of this idea offers us the following algorithm of actions.
First, you need to determine the size of the future box. Then you need to bring down the frame to this intended size. The back wall of the frame needs to be sewn up with any plates. And at the front wall you need to sew up the middle part.
Secondly, you need to find as many sludge rods as possible. Then, the author recommends cutting them to the size of the box and rounding off the edges. Obtained props need to beat all the visible sides of the mailbox.
On the front wall at the very bottom you need to leave a slot for viewing mail. There will be a narrow plank above it, in which you need to drill 6 identical holes with a diameter of 1.5 cm. This plank can be decorated in the same way - sheathed with silt rods. To this hole, the author proposes to hang a small door with the help of a piano hinge. The author also advises making a spinner constipation. You can make it out of wire. This mechanism will protect mail from rain.
On the mailbox you can make the numbers of the house number.To do this, a few thin rods need to form numbers and attach them to the box using brackets. Staples can also be made with your own hands by biting off the hats of small cloves with ticks, the remains of which must be ground and bent in half.
The upper part of the front wall of the box must be hammered with wide tablets. In the lower plank, it is first necessary to make a gap of 2.5 by 18 cm and paint it. You can paint in any color. The author advises in blue. From the scraps of narrow window glazing bead, you can cut out the word mail, and then attach it to the visor. The word mail is better to be painted white.
The box can make a roof. For this, the author suggests knocking down two planks with a triangle. On the back side of the triangle you need to nail a board. In the roof, everything is decorated under a bird's nest. The nest itself is formed from coconut fiber. There can be any bird. The author placed an owl in his box.
On the roof, you can attach small boards of the roof, 6 pieces on both sides. The boards should overlap slightly.
Thus, it turns out a wonderful mailbox resembling a fabulous house.
