Hidden wiring finder

In connection with the repair, I needed a wiring finder so that I wouldn’t stumble on the wire in the wall with a puncher.) I rummaged through a bunch of circuits, they offer them around on controllers, etc., in general, very confused, I came across a good circuit.

The figure shows a diagram of a simple finder for hidden wiring on transistors, with a light alarm on the LED. The basis of this hidden wiring detector is a KP103ZH field effect transistor to the gate of which an antenna is connected, a piece of copper wire or a small metal plate is mounted directly on the detector body, one of the side walls of the hidden wiring finder. Adjustment of the circuit is not required; a correctly assembled detector starts working immediately after switching on.

Powered by two 1.5V AA batteries.

Sorry for the photo, does not take close. I have a mounted installation, so everything was glued with hot glue.

The fittings must be earthed. What are the tips?
Catch catches.
It reacts to wires without voltage, to the housings of household appliances.

But you won’t get to reinforcement in concrete
Well, how will he look for fittings? Due to what?
Although it catches all the interference and static, but it works.
But you won’t get to reinforcement in concrete)))

: winked: The scheme is known, but not "very". The reason collects all electrostatic electricity. You can adjust the "sensitivity" only by changing the length of the antenna. For this reason, it is advisable to do it like an ordinary piece of wire, changing its length.

"Minusit" may unsubscribe, which is not so. Or weak?
In VT3, the collector current is not limited to either a resistor in series with the LED, or at least a basic resistor. As a result, its failure is possible.
