I offer a small and convenient mini rotor made of a broken or unnecessary old fishing reel.
I'm just crazy about him. Small with a folding handle and light.
And so, take the old coil.
We disassemble it, only the upper part, remove the spool and stacker.
The spool is removed in two ways:
At the top there is a large button, click on it and raise the spool up.
Or a spinning lamb, twist and remove.
Then we remove the stacker, just unscrew the nut (carefully, the nut comes with the right thread).
It is not necessary to touch the screws twisted into the housing; they hold the bearing.
Now turning the knob, you can see how the central pin rises and falls.
We need the highest position.
When the pin is extended to the maximum, make a mark and cut it with a hacksaw for metal.
Take a cartridge (I have a small one lying around, the first number is from 1 to 6 mm.). In principle, more is not necessary for such crumbs.
Degrease the cartridge and spool shaft. I managed with 646 solvent.
I wound a little thread on the spool shaft, when you put the cartridge on the shaft, the cartridge should go a little on the thread (so then it is easier to center the cartridge.
Take a glue gun and while it heats up, I heated the cartridge a bit on gas (so that the glue does not catch very quickly).
We completely fill the cavity of the cartridge with hot glue and put on the cartridge, going a little on the thread.
Gently turning the handle of the coil, we center the cartridge. It is necessary to achieve minimal fluctuation. Let the glue cool for half an hour.
Cut off excess glue with a clerical knife
For the convenience of drilling, I wrapped the braids on a hollow tube (also from a broken fishing rod). You can also store drills in it.
The length of the tube should approximately reach the elbow, it serves as an emphasis.
