Native Mobile Suppressor

The author of this device has been fond of radio electronics for a long time, he often looks for various schemes and instructions in order to independently assemble different devices for personal use. Once, while also searching the world’s network for unusual electronics, stumbled upon an article from Jammer. This article had a whole guide on how to create your own cellular jammer. And having fully studied this article, I decided to try to do something similar to what was described in the article.

Materials:

- 600 MHz frequency converter (advanced)
- aluminum box
- antennas and VHF connectors from a Motorola phone
- RF amplifier
- 9V battery
- clock generator

Description of the manufacture of a device for jamming the signal of mobile phones.

Having studied all the available information, including diagrams and other technical data, the author proceeded to manufacture a mobile silencer. Naturally, as the device was thought through, the author brought into it several of his details, which, in his opinion, should improve the effect of the device.

In this picture you can see the scheme of the device:

Step one: finalizing the frequency converter.

To create this device, I used a 600 MHz frequency converter. This converter has been improved to meet the needs and goals of the future device.

The communication blocker will operate at a frequency of 800 MHz for the reason that most mobile phones use this very frequency. Therefore, to assemble the device, the author took the oscillating frequency generator as a basis. According to calculations, he will have to perfectly perform his necessary functions. And since the author is not new to radio electronics, it was not so difficult for him to assemble such a part, having good tools.

Step two: install the clock generator.

I also used a generator of synchronized signals at 45 MHz. This part will act as a jammer in a jamming device for mobile communications. During operation, this generator should excite the receiver local oscillator port, which is located on the microcircuit. In order to equalize the resistance of the local oscillator port of synchronized signals, the author launched the local oscillator signal through the resistance matching network.

Step Three: RF Amplifier

An RF amplifier was also used.Unfortunately, the use of an amplifier greatly affects the energy consumption of the device as a whole, so you should understand this and calculate the capabilities of the used energy sources. But to abandon the amplifier in the circuit of the device for reasons of increasing energy consumption is not worth it, since it carries an important, essentially basic, function of the device.

Thus, the local oscillator port, which in turn is the RF input, is connected to an 800 MHz antenna. The RF output, however, goes through a special signal amplifier that increases the output power of the device by 15 dBm, and then the signal passed through the amplifier is transmitted to the output antenna.

Step Five: Select a device enclosure.

As a case, the author decided to use his old unnecessary aluminum box, in which holes were drilled for fixing parts, as well as VHF connectors from a Motorola phone.

Step six: solder the VHF connectors.
The VHF connectors were soldered to the cellular signal silencer chip.

Seventh step: placing the circuits and parts of the device in a prepared case.

He chose a 9 V battery as the power source. The battery was installed inside the box and separated from all other circuits and parts using a piece of foam. Thus, the mobile signal jammer will be able to work autonomously.

Step Eight: Installing Antennas.

The author also took the antennas for signal transmission from Motorola. Their author connected to the VHF connectors, and also made a switch on the device to turn it on and off at the click of a button.

Summarizing.

As a result, with this approach, any person who speaks on a cell phone will only hear the interference of their own signal amplified and reflected by the device when it is on. This is possible due to the fact that mobile phones operating at a frequency of 800 MHz, namely, the author was going to jam these, there is a difference in the frequency of the sent and received signals, and this difference is standardly equal to 45 MHz.

In addition, this muffler at the same time blocks all signals from tracking devices that use GPS navigation, for example to track your car, and the cellular frequency that can be used to obtain data. So the device is doubly useful, since in addition to the cellular blocker, it is also a GPS jammer. Thanks to this parameter, the device can also be used to interfere with the activation of improvised explosive devices if they detonate from a call from a mobile phone.

After completing these works, the author received a working cellular communication blocker that can be used in a car, office, or even carried with you in a bag or briefcase.
