In the summer, especially on hot days, we are faced with the fact that silver products quickly darken. In order to return your products to their former shine, we will use proven methods.
Materials and tools:
- baking soda;
- food foil;
- dishes, cup;
- Toothbrush;
- ammonia;
For the first method, we need food foil and soda.
We put products on the foil.
We fill the products with soda and put the foil with the products in the dishes.
Pour boiling water and after 10 minutes, at the end of the reaction we get silver.
This method is effective, but unfortunately, not this time. As you can see, the products are barely cleaned.
The following method also requires baking soda and works much better.
You need to slightly moisten the toothbrush and get rid of excess water. Enveloping the brush in soda, grab it and rub the product.
The result is not long in coming.
If the soda stops sticking, you need to re-wet the brush. If the brush is excessively moistened, the soda will undoubtedly catch, only because of the excess of moisture will you get slurry and cleaning is unlikely to be effective.

The latter method is very unpleasant. We will need ammonia. And he is not pleasant in that the ammonia has a very sharp unpleasant odor.
We put the product in a small container and fill it with ammonia.
In less than a minute, the cleaning has already begun, and after a couple of minutes, the black coating completely dissolved.
Of course, the result is not the same as with the second method, the product lacks shine, but still the method is quite effective.
