I have been cultivating Tarpan since 1995. Initially, with the two-stroke engine from the scooter Ant. After his physical deterioration became prohibitive, he was forced to replace him. Now for six years, too, Tarpan, but with a four-stroke American engine of the Chinese assembly. It is good that my converted tools, which helped a lot in processing the garden, approached the new Tarpan. I want to share my main alteration of old Tarpan.
I was able to make a power take-off shaft (PTO). How this is done is clearly visible in the photographs. Having disconnected both parts of the cultivator, he introduced the metal insert shown in the photo into the gap. Now it remains to remove the factory assembly providing the centrifugal clutch from the engine shaft, and to replace it with a new design combining both functions of the centrifugal clutch and the power take-off shaft (PTO).

This power take-off option helped me for several years on haymaking for a cow. If anyone was interested and made such a power take-off shaft on the new Tarpan, it would be possible to recommend making a rotary mower of two disks rotating so that the grass fit in different directions from the axis of movement of Tarpan, clearing a place for the cultivator to pass. This is due to the fact that to ensure the required speed, a small diameter wheel would have to be used and the clearance to the ground would be small. Coverage about a meter.
This alteration did not cause any problems with the work of Tarpan. I hope that it is not necessary to say that the presence of a power take-off shaft sharply increases the possibilities of Tarpan.
