This article will look at how do it yourself make a double bed with drawers for storing things. The bed itself consists of six boxes and four boxes that can be easily transported and assembled in the right place.

Step One: Cutting Plywood
To make the bed, the author used plywood with mahogany lining for all visible parts. For all other parts, ordinary plywood.

For four boxes:
8 - 736x304x19mm-sidewalls
2 - 724x304x19mm-walls for installing drawers
4-800x304x12mm-back
4 - 838x736x12mm-top \ bottom
For four boxes:
8 - 584x254x19mm-side walls
8 - 305x254x12mm-front and rear walls
4 - 384x286x12mm-drawer lids

For shelves:

Step two: box assembly
Using a jig, I drilled holes in the boxes in the details, at an angle. I assembled the boxes. In two boxes in which the boxes will be installed, I additionally installed walls, dividing the space in half. I glued the edges.
Step Three: Shelves
She made shelves from mahogany-coated plywood. The edge of the shelf is rounded. The bars are made of mahogany. I fixed the walls with nails. After assembly, glued the edge.
Step Four: Crates
Further, the author collects the boxes. Since the bed will stand on one side of the wall, there will be four drawers, two for each front box. To connect in the walls of the drawers selects a groove. Collects boxes, fixes with glue. If necessary, if the bed will be in the middle of the room, eight drawers can be made, four on each side.
Step Five: Guides
Secured the guides on the boxes and drawers. The size of the guides is 391x76x12mm. Quantity-8 pcs. I glued lids to the drawers and screwed the handles. Put wax on the surface of the boxes.
Step Six: Build
With the last step, the author collects all parts of the bed, fixes them with screws. Sets the headboard. Now it remains to lay a mattress and you can relax.
