DIY solenoid motor

Good day to all. In this article we will consider how the author made a solenoid motor do it yourself.

For a solenoid, the author took a piece from a telescopic radio antenna.

Two washers are suitable in size.

He put the washers on the antenna and fixed it with super glue.

Then the author took a copper insulated wire about 20 m long.

And he wound it in one direction on the solenoid housing.

Further, the author will make the stock of the solenoid from a suitable nail of ordinary diameter.

The stem should move freely in the tube.

Then it measures and cuts off the excess.

Then the author takes the case from the ballpoint pen notes and cuts off the excess.

He puts this piece from the handle onto the stem and glues it with glue.

Then in this tube he makes a through hole.

Further, the author cuts a groove parallel to the hole.

Checks.

Then he takes a small wooden block with pre-drilled holes at the edges.

And fastens the solenoid to the block with the help of plastic clamps (ties.)

Trims excess ends.

Then the author will make a crank mechanism. To do this, he will take a thick copper wire to remove insulation from it and bend it as shown in the picture below.

Then he will take another piece of the same wire and make a connecting rod from it. Like this.

Next, install the connecting rod in its place, wearing pieces of cambric on both sides of the connecting rod to limit the connecting rod from side to side.

The author took a piece of the board as the basis.

And the author made two identical bars in them one hole at a time. Their author will use them as supporting posts of the shaft.

Installed the shaft on the rack tried and glued.

Then he limited the axial movement of the shaft using pieces of cambric.

On one side of the shaft, the author put on a flywheel previously carved from wood.

Then he connected the connecting rod to the solenoid.

Then he measured the required distance and glued the solenoid.

Then he took a piece of copper wire a little less in diameter than he took on a connecting rod.

And he made the motor contacts from her first permanent.

And then the control contact.

Then the author has a check.

Next, the author connects the solenoid to the contacts.

Well, the author is ready for the solenoid motor.

And now the test from the author. The author took the battery from a screwdriver as food.

And connects with crocodiles for wires.

As we all see, everything works fine with the author.
