Today I had 2 problems that needed to be solved. I decided them using my ingenuity and craving for craft. I decided to share with you my decisions in order to leave a peculiar mark in history.
Task 1, the mixer has a tight switch.
Wayward mixer
Over time, the switch to the shower began to work tight. It got to the point that I did not have the strength to switch it. My hands are not weak, but with the index and middle fingers of two hands I could not switch! For several days I was reminded to sort it out. Well, you know that “A man said - a man did” this: a man said, forgot, reminded, reminded, reminded, he swore and did. Talk started about buying a new mixer. Then I was bitten, but not really I (!) And I can not figure it out. I got a gas key and using a rag (so as not to leave any traces), I disassembled the mixer. I twisted it, I finally understood the reason.
Water falling on the mixer flowed onto the mechanism, and since it is “hard”, a plaque formed upon drying. This very raid prevented the normal movement of parts.
At one time, long ago it was, I grabbed a tin can from under the engine oil, remained after changing the oil. With pleasure, having disposed of it at home, I got as many TWO JARNES (from under the vitamins) of PURE ENGINE OIL !!!
I use a syringe (it’s also a trophy one) and a supply of engine oil, I lubricated the switch pin with a few drops.
After several development manipulations, the switch began to work as in the first days after installing the mixer.
Task 2, do not disrupt the setting of the chair.
My chair has several settings, one of them is the removal of the back.It was this adjustment that I wanted to change. Easy to say, harder to do. Probably, at the last setting, I tightened too much and now it was not possible to loosen the tightening of the mechanism - my hands slipped. After trying many options, I came to a simple solution: we take the belt and tape, tape the end of the belt with tape and glue it on the handle and wind the belt on top. Using the power of only one hand, I was able to do something that previously lacked the strength of both.

Share your tricks, too, for in the exchange of ideas new ones also arise. Combining various technologies, you can get the desired result, even if it will be technologies from completely different fields.
I still did not have time to complete the calculation of the article, as I remembered a few more of my decisions. I began to describe one thing, I remembered another one and so on ...
The belt plaque no longer flies
I got a very interesting belt (the hero of task 2), but he had one problem - the plaque flew away. After several experiments, I came to this decision, to bend and flash it well:
Express solution for a broken dog for jeans
A long time ago there was a case, a nuisance happened: on the jeans the dog suddenly broke and ceased to be fixed in position. Draft is an unpleasant thing, harmful to health! Well, I had to launch a think tank ... I thought, thought and came up with. We take a thread, a thin wire or fishing line (it seems to be the best option) and make a “ring” by passing through the dog and so that it can be put on a rivet or button on jeans.
In practice, it turned out to be a very reliable design, it served until the jeans were worn. Externally, the presence of such a modification is completely not noticeable. Using it also does not cause difficulties, even removing the loop was not required (I do not remember the cases when it was necessary) to remove the jeans.
