An unusual wooden bowl was made by the Master. One of the elements of the bowl is an epoxy resin insert. To make a bowl, the master needed the following

Step One: Foundation
The master made the base of the bowl from beech. Sawed off the workpiece of the desired length.
Secured on a lathe. Processed the workpiece.
Step Two: Rings
The master needs to make several stacked rings. Two rings will be molds for filling, the rest will be the top of the bowl. Slices elements of rings from poplar and mahogany.
Glues pieces of wood on electrical tape. Applies glue between the seams. Forms a ring.
Step Three: Epoxy
Lays two rings, one in another, on a plain surface. On the bottom fills the gap with hotmelt outside. Removes colored wire from the cable. Lays the wire in the space between the rings. Knead epoxy. Fills the space between the rings with resin.
Step Four: Top Ring
The upper ring consists of three glued rings. Processes rings on a grinding machine. Glues three rings together.
Step Five: Putty
Levels the upper part of the base on a grinding machine. Fills cracks with two-component epoxy putty.
Step six: gluing the bowl
Removes an epoxy insert from a mold. Aligns the end surfaces of the ring. Glues all elements of the bowl.
Seventh step: processing
After gluing the parts, it processes the bowl on a lathe.

From the inside out.
Step Eight: Grinding the Bowl
Sanding with sandpaper.
Step Nine: Cover
Apply a mixture of linseed oil and beeswax to the bowl.
Step ten: the inscription
Since the master made this cup as a gift, the inscription burns into the cups.
The bowl is ready. You can use it as a decorative bowl,
but you can, like a Master, instead of a headdress -)))
