As you know, it has now become fashionable to assemble various LED-based matrices homemade with simulation of movement depending on the horizontal position of the matrix itself, this is done using an ordinary Arduino board and an accelerometer, there are many schemes on the Internet on this interesting topic. I think something similar can be done with this module, although it is more likely to be more suitable for outputting textual information due to its main matrix of 8 by 8 LEDs. In general, you can apply this inexpensive matrix in many ways, the main thing is to have imagination and a little knowledge in programming and electronics.
Personally, I had an idea to use this module in conjunction with an Arduino micro or nano and possibly an accelerometer to install advanced lighting on my racing drone that I am currently assembling, I think it would be cool, the quadcopter’s load capacity allows it, you just need to deal with the matrix power, to fortunately "eats" it is not very much electricity.
The operating voltage of the module is only 5 volts; in principle, it can be powered even from the backs on the Arduino.
By the way, this product does not cost very much and the bundle also includes connecting wires, I think it will be interesting to many.
Well, thank you all for your attention!
Cost: ~ 245
