Simple attachment for transporting large items

Hello dear readers andthe inhabitants of our site!
Many of you had to do construction work, or loading materials into the workshop. It happens that there are no assistants nearby, and you have to carry materials alone.

In this article, the author of the YouTube channel “create” will tell you how to facilitate this process by making a special device from an old clamp and wheel for roller skates.

This homemade product is extremely easy to manufacture, and can be repeated even with the simplest tools in a few minutes.

Materials
- F-clamp
- Wheel for roller skates
- Steel pin M8
- Blind nut, M8 washers
—
- Spray paint
- Machine oil.

Instruments, used by the author.
-, metal drill
—
—
- Wrench
- Metal brush, file, hacksaw
- Vise, hammer.

Manufacturing process.
So, the author found an old F-clamp. It will serve as the basis for homemade work.

He cleans it with a metal brush, but without much fanaticism.

On the upper sponge, the clamp restores the cut.

Then sanders the wooden handle.

The clamp is fixed in a vice, the place of the future hole is pinched.

Then, when using oil, a hole is drilled.

Using a tap, an M8 thread is cut, the author blows out the remaining chips with a pneumatic gun.

The author just found the right castors for the rollers.

Using a threaded lock, twist the stud.

A washer is put on the stud, then a wheel with another washer. But the stud is too long to tighten the blind nut.

The author screwed a regular nut onto the stud, and cut it with a hacksaw.

The hairpin is shortened, a blind nut can be screwed on.

Everything is ready, the wheel rotates perfectly.

Having fixed the clamp on the edge of a long board, the master removes it from his warehouse.

Now it can be safely transported to the workshop even without the help of a partner!

I thank the author for the idea of a simple but useful device for transportation!
All good mood, good luck, and interesting ideas!

Yes, it’s probably better: both brake and protection.

And in order not to scratch, you can put a thick hose on the shank.

the second clip wouldn’t hurt
At first, I thought so too, but upon reflection, I decided that a “brake” was also needed so that the board would not be able to go downhill. smile
KMK, the second roller would not hurt - on the other end of the clamp: so as not to accidentally scratch anything, you can roll on two rollers.
