The wizard shoots a lot of videos at long time intervals. For uniform illumination throughout the day or night, the master made a softbox from improvised materials.
Tools and materials:
-Set of daytime running lights;
-Aluminum profile;
-Aluminum rivets;
-12V power supply;
-Fasteners;
-Nylon screeds;
-Silicone sealant;
-Heat-shrink tubing;
-LED controller;
-Hacksaw;
Riveter;
-Dremel;
-File;
-Drill;
Step One: Frame
The master makes the frame of the lamp from an aluminum profile. Saw off the profile of the desired length. It is filing corners. Drills holes for rivets. Joins the frame with rivets.
Step Two: Mount
Further, the master makes a mount for installing the camera, on the one hand, and a clip, on the other hand. In the middle of the bottom plate of the frame, drills a hole and sets the hairpin. Clips the stud on both sides with nuts.
Step Three: Install LEDs
The LEDs from the set of navigation lights are fixed on the frame. The master unsticks the LED strips from the frames and glues them to the lamp frame.
Step Four: Wires
First, the master left the standard wires.
Then he added a controller and replaced the wires.
Since the master planned to use all the contacts on the street, he insulates with a heat shrink tube and seals it with silicone.
For power, the master uses an old 12 volt power supply.
To use the softbox, the wizard installs the mount from below, and installs a camera inside. Installation examples can be seen in the photographs.
