A simple and effective way to hide traces of fasteners will be considered in this article. In the photos in places surrounded by a red line, screws are installed. As we see, no traces of fasteners are visible. For the operation of hidden fasteners, you will need the simplest tools: a chisel, a screw, a screwdriver, a drill, glue, carpentry, a clamp, sandpaper and a bar wrapped in film.
In the place of fastening you need to trim the upper layer of wood with a chisel. It is not necessary to completely cut off the material.
Drills a hole and tightens the screw, fastening two parts.
Apply glue.
In place of gluing, a block is installed, wrapped in cellophane and clamped with a clamp.
After an hour, we need to remove the bar and grind the place.
After grinding, the installation location of the screw is not visible. The disadvantage of this method can be considered the difficulty of dismantling the part, if necessary.
