Step One: Project
When designing a freight electric bike, the master took as a basis the models on the market.
Step Two: Frame
The basic part of the bike is a frame from an old bicycle. From the frame, the master removes all the details and cleans it.
Step Two: Material Preparation
It cuts off part of the frame, and cuts off the transverse tube for welding with the tube of the steering shaft.
By templates, it procures material. Slices a pipe, cuts holes, customizes.
Step Three: Welding
Step Four: Front Fork
As a fork, the master used the CrMo BMX fork, modifying it to fit your needs.
Step Five: Brakes
Disc brakes on an electric bike Magura MT5. To fix the brake mechanism, the master made a bracket.
Step Six: tie rods
Makes a template from rails, and then makes steering links according to the template.
Seventh step: step
From the profile pipe welds the footboard. Establishes a footboard, fixes springs.
Step Eight: Cargo Area
For the cargo area, the master uses an aluminum sheet. Cut to size and fasten to welded brackets.
Step Nine: Brackets
To lay wires and cables, the master welds the brackets to the frame.
Step Ten: Wings
Wizard redid the wings from the store.
Step Eleven: Stripping, Grinding
Then the master cleans the seams, polishes the surface. Prepares for painting.
Step Twelve: Painting
Grunts and then paints the details of the bike.
Step 13: rear-wheel drive and front-wheel drive
Rear-wheel drive is a traditionally powered mechanical foot drive.
The master installs a 250 W, 36 V, 15 A, 20 "wheel motor on the front part. The motor is powered by a 14 A / h battery.
Step Fourteen: Build
Starts assembling a freight electric bike.
All is ready.According to the master, an electric bicycle drove more than 500 km and did not cause any complaints. The battery charge (without load) is enough for 40 km. The average speed is 16.1 km \ h, and the maximum is 28.
