For those who want to make electric bike from the usual The Wrench will show how to do it.
For this we need:
1. Speed bike
2. KIT kit for assembling such a bike, it includes:
2.1 Motor wheel
2.2 Controller
2.3. Cadence sensor
2.4. Wires
2.5. Gas handle
2.6. Brake handles
At first glance, assembling such a bike may seem simple. There is nothing complicated, but you need to consider many factors.
Before buying a kit you need to: compare the dimensions of the rear wheel on your bike, calculate the number of stars on the rear wheel. In addition, you need to determine the motor power and battery capacity. The most expensive parts in this homemade - This is a motor and battery. You can assemble the battery yourself, but this process is not for the beginner. When assembling the battery yourself, you must take into account the voltage and current consumed by the motor. Li-Ion batteries are best suited for electric bicycles because they have good energy consumption per kilogram of weight. Do not forget about the controller for batteries, which will monitor the charging and discharging of the battery.

ATTENTION! The composition of the kit and the procedure may vary!
Let's get started
1. Remove the wheel from our bike. If you have disc brakes on the rear wheel, then remove the disc (rotor) and rearrange it on a new motor wheel, if you have rim brakes, then do not touch anything.
2. Fasten the block to the frame. First, attach the block to the frame and mark the place where we will drill holes for the screws. We make a dent in the nail so that the drill does not come off during drilling. We drill and fasten. The author painted the block to match the color of the bicycle frame.
3. We conduct the wires along the frame, connect them and fasten the plastic ties to the frame.
Also do not forget to connect the wires from the gas handle.
4. Install new brake levers. We connect the cables and glue the button. We solder the power wire to the battery connector.
5. We dress the handle of gas, we fix all wires with plastic ties. Do not forget to install the cadence sensor, which also needs to be connected to the unit.
DONE!
