Most of us know the New Year’s fairy tale, The Nutcracker. Some of us in childhood had such a toy either in the form of a Christmas tree toy or in the form of a wooden figure. As we recall, the Nutcracker was able to crack nuts. A master from the USA decided to make a Nutcracker by Christmas, which clicks not only walnuts, but also coconuts.

Step One: Material
The material for the product was chosen by the master from the old lumber in the warehouse. Brought to the workshop.

Step Two: Segmented Rings
The Nutcracker is made of 8 parts. The main parts are made of segmented rings glued together. Slices bars into segments. The cut angle of segments is 9 degrees.

Step Three: Assembling Parts

Now you need to grind the details on the lathe giving them the desired shape. For the upper part, the master grinds a bubo.
Step Six: Mouth
On the head makes markings under the mouth.

Glues the details of the head.
Seventh step: lower jaw
Now you need to make the lower jaw. A master cuts out a template from cardboard.
Drills a hole for fastening the jaw.
The jaw is made according to the template.
Drills a hole and glues the sleeve.

Step Eight: Paint Grooves
The grooves were painted over by the master.
Step Nine: Mount
In the end parts of the arms and legs, the master drills holes. Pastes the bolt heads into the holes. Drills holes in the body and glues nuts. The master makes the same connection for the head with the torso.
In addition to bolts, glue is applied to the joint.
Step Ten: Feet
A sander processes the legs giving them the desired shape.

The master made the support by cutting and gluing two wooden rectangles.
After gluing, it processes the support, cleans of glue, polishes.
Attaches support to the legs, outlines and drills holes for fastening.
Step Twelve: Face
Now you need to make a face Nutcracker. Makes a nose. Cuts into a groove and pastes the nose.
With the help of a burner and a brush with paints he paints a face.
Step Thirteen: Cover
Covers the Nutcracker. The master uses tung oil.
Step fourteen: final assembly
Fastens the legs. Screws the support.
Sets the lower jaw and arms.
Screws a bubo.
Cut hair from a fur coat. Fixes them on the head.
The Nutcracker is ready.
