I have many friends and many models during construction were dedicated to them.
I dedicated several models to the famous Victor Bakulev from St. Petersburg! He is one of the few modelers who, among a huge variety of models, pays a lot of attention to airplanes, snowmobiles and the like!
In this article I want to talk about two radio-controlled models that I dedicated to him.
On the model of the glider and the model of the glider - tandem - ekranoplan ...
Winter has just arrived, snow and ice! They will survive until the summer and try some water.
I'll start with the ekranoplan.
This model under the name "Bam - Buck"
This drawing was taken as the basis. The design of the boat - ekranoplan G.V. Jorg.
The basic material for the construction was chosen as a simple substrate for a laminate, 1000 mm in size. X 400 mm. X 5 mm. , ceiling tiles, 4 mm thick. and a sheet of a heater "Penopleks" 20 mm thick.
All details were marked and cut out, as they say "by eye". In some places, they were adjusted locally.
Initially, two side floats were cut from the Penoplex insulation sheet.
The floats are sanded and small curves are made along all sharp edges.
From the inside, I glued two sheets of ceiling tiles with a size of 500 X500 mm to these floats. by pre-cutting along the edges from four sides of the edges of 5 mm.
Sheets of ceilings on the underside reinforced with penplex strips with a cross section of 10 X 5 mm. The front edges of glued sheets of ceilings were reinforced with narrow strips of wooden rulers, 5 mm wide.
Further, keels, blanks for the fuselage were cut, tried on and mounted.
I note that the manufacture of a cockpit and pilots is not necessary at all and depends only on your imagination and skill.
For gluing, universal KIN glue was used.
As the glue dries, the model is covered with tape.
To control the servo-machine and motor, 2 channels of the FLYSKY transmitter are used.
I think that everything is clear from my tips and photos. First, a model with a front engine with a screw was assembled.
A few words about the model. Dimensions are chosen arbitrarily. Length - 1100 mm. Width - 500 mm. Based on the size of the ceiling tiles.
Motor - 2826/6 2200Kv.
Screw - 7 X 4.
The regulator is 40 A.
Servo - NHT 900
This is how the screw’s work creates an air cushion under the model.
After several test runs, it was decided to transfer the motor with a screw to the rear of the model. This is how the model looks after reconstruction.
The model showed good driving performance.

I pass to the next model, which bears the name "Bam - Bak - 3"
The materials are the same, only a wooden bar 500 mm long has been added. and a cross section of 50 X5 mm. for attaching side floats.
Initially, two side floats and one front float were cut. from a sheet of a heater "Penopleks".
The floats are sanded and small curves are made along all sharp edges. All this is mounted.
Customized in place and glued.
I want to focus on managing the model. The model is controlled not by the rudder (RN), but by turning the front float, which is driven by an HXT-9 servo.
This is how the steering wheel works.
The swivel mechanism is quite complex and it is not necessary to do it at all and you can limit yourself to the launch vehicle, as in the previous model.
The manufacture of the cabin, as well as in the first model, is not necessary. You can make a simple hatch for installing the battery. Personally, I make a cabin from a plastic bottle from under soda water. I cut it out with scissors and paste it.
The motor, servo and battery are exactly the same as on the first model.
