An information board with an optical illusion was made by the Master. In fact, the board is flat, but thanks to the applied drawing, the illusion of a three-dimensional image is created.
To make the board, the master used the following
Tools and materials:
-Acrylic sheet;
-LED Strip Light;
-Laminate;
- CNC machine with a laser;
USB cable
- Clamps;
-Glue;
-Acetone;
-Oil;
Step One: Project
The information board consists of two main parts, a stand and an acrylic panel. The master developed their drawing in a special program. Download the drawings below.

Step Two: Laser Engraving
On the CNC machine, according to the drawing, cuts out acrylic. Then he draws a picture on it.
Step Three: Foundation
The master glued the base from the laminate. Cropped to fit. I glued an LED strip in the middle of one panel. In the second panel, I cut a groove. I glued the second panel on top of the first by aligning the groove and the LED strip.
Step Four: Build
Coated the base with oil. I installed an acrylic sheet in the groove.
The information panel is ready, it remains to power up the LEDs and write the necessary text on acrylic.
